2423 (Rhondda) Squadron Royal Air Force Cadets



 This is the Official hompage of 2423 (Treorchy) Squadron, Air Training Corps. The Air Training Corps is a national voluntary youth organisation designed to develop qualities of young people. It is sponsored by the Royal AIr Force and provides challenging aviation, adventurous and community activities.

Air Cadets aged 12 (School Year 8) to 18 years get the opportunity to participate in a range of stimulating activities. Where else could you learn to fly aerobatics, take control of a Grob Tutor and Vigilant Glider, visit Royal Air Force Stations and spend a week on camp, play sports for your Squadron, Wing, Region or Corps. How about learning the skills to lead expeditions, becme a target shooting marksman or even gain your Duke of Edinburugh Award.

These are just some of the things we get up to and available to cadets within the Air Training Corps.

Our website has been designed to give you informtion about what we at 2423 (Treorchy) Squadron get up to. If you wish to visit the Squadron we parade every TUESDAY and THURSDAY evening at the TA Centre, Pentre.
